To mom and dad,
I'm getting used to the name you've given me, I think it holds a lot of significance, I feel honored to have it.
I've also felt incredibly fortunate for the positive changes that have been happening lately.
Work is great — both my overnight and personal projects, my old apartment doesn't hold a candle to my new place, my friends and found family make me feel valued.
I used to see my world through the lens of a movie, my disassociation was that severe. Although I'm more active in my life now I still perceive everything as a film, I feel the genre has been changing.. maybe that's wishful thinking.
I'm just afraid of the horrors taking away everything I love again...
